It is hard to believe that after a sever vomiting resulted from taking Chinese medicine and Panadol, my father became disoriented and confused. At first, we did not know how serious his condition was. Only after he lost his way and did not return home after midnight two days after his vomit. My mother was worried and made a police report. A few hours later, the police found an old man wondering in Bedok area and bought him back to the station. They called my mum to the police station to see whether he is the missing person she reported.
With this incident, we were truly worried. We bought him to our family doctor. He diagnosed him to have dementia and referred us to Tan Tock Seng Hospital through polyclinics.
The doctor in the polyclinics said that in the refer note of our family doctor, our family doctor said that my father could not recognise anyone of us. This is a shock to me. I denied it. The doctor turned to my father and asked him whether he recognised anyone of us. My father was confused and could not answer him. I was very sad and speechless for my father's condition.
We prayed that my father's condition could be improved and that my mother has extra strength to take care of my father.
Phm 1:6 I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.
Eph 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
